LED Light Therapy

LED (Light Emitting Diode) Light Therapy is a scientific, non-invasive treatment that involves specific wavelengths of light being delivered to the various layers of the skin to stimulate and activate cellular activities and processes. LED Light Therapy is completely safe and is a comfortable, relaxing treatment.

There are 3 main wavelengths that offer different benefits:

The blue (470nm) light is known for its ability to treat active acne. This wavelength specifically targets the p.acne bacteria, which is known to cause breakouts. It is antibacterial, anti-inflammatory and helps to regulate sebum production.

Red (640nm) LED is the best option for those concerned with ageing and promoting healthy skin function. This wavelength stimulates collagen production, increases circulation and cell repair, reduces inflammation and fights fine lines and wrinkles. It offers overall skin rejuvenation and promotes instant radiance.

To heal skin, infrared (880nm) LED is recommended. This wavelength assists with wound healing, scar reduction and hair regrowth. Like red LED, it also stimulates collagen production, circulation and assists with skin rejuvenation. Infrared LED is recommended after more invasive treatments (such as needling or peels), surgery, cosmetic injectables or some injuries.
